"I have dined in Chinese restaurants in more than 30 cities on 5 continents, helped open 2 Chinese restaurants (one of which was on the Costa del Sol). Ciudad China, in Tafalla, Navarra, Spain, is the best - on the basis of price for quality. I have dined at Ciudad China, with a variety of guests, on six occasions. We all loved every course. The daily menu (with no price rises for weekends etc) is €9 for a 4-course meal including drink and dessert, with a large selection of dishes in the two main courses. The typically Chinese, tastefully decorated dining area seats perhaps 50 guests. The owner is the cook, his young wife the dining room manager. waitress and cashier. The more clients in the restaurant with us have been 12, but a steady stream of carryout customers come to the till to collect bags of take-away orders. The wife divides her responsibilities with mothering her four-year-old daughter, in the restaurant. By degrees, we have come to feel more like guests in this family's home, and that has been endearing. The overall agreeability of the dining experience at Ciudad China is, of course, the high quality of the cuisine. We look forward to dining in this fine restaurant once or twice each week we spend in northern Spain."

"Muy rico todo. Por poner una pega, no nos dejaron cambiar el arroz 3 delicias por otra cosa pero bueno, muy a gusto con el menú de 3 personas. Bien calculado."
